Often called "milk tea", this particular tea cultivar - jin xuan - is well known for its naturally creamy quality on the palate.

This tea is grown and processed on Ali Shan Mountain, Taiwan. This batch of tea was sourced from an artisan who has repeatedly won first prize in the Nantou County Tea Trade Association’s Jin Xuan Dong Ding Oolong Tea Competitions.

We feel very lucky to have received some of this special tea that truly holds the desired character of Jin Xuan, a floral aroma and sweet, buttery flavor with characteristic creamy mouth-feel. This aromatic, light-bodied tea stands up to multiple steepings.
