A new arrival from young plants of the T-78 cultivar, this rich, fruity and slightly zesty Darjeeling is a beautiful example of modern first flush teas from this famous Himalayan terroir. Grown and harvested at 1550m, Darjeeling 1st Flush Thurbo has a clear liquor with the texture of shantung silk. Richly expressive yet balanced, you will note aromas of cedar, jasmine and ginger rounded out by saline and wintergreen in the mouth.Ā
